About Me
My passion for all things cycling started with mountain bikes in the 80’s. Mountain bikes were building popularity in the UK during a boom period of MTB in the USA. Of course growing up in central London didn’t prove to be a great opportunity for such a riding style except for trip’s to Epping Forest and cycling holidays to Cornwall so it didn’t take long to take up road cycling.
I had left college and starting working for Muddy Fox on their apprenticeship mechanics course before then working in several London Bike shops including Yellow Jersey Cycles. At the time, Yellow Jersey had 4 stores across North West and East London and this is where I built upon my mechanics experience and learnt the dark art of wheel building. I also got evolved with the Yellow Jersey Race team as lead mechanic.
It’s here I really became known for my meticulousness, I was passionate about making sure that everything I did was to my own exacting standards. This is still very much my ethos today and forms part of my fitting service. Every body is individual and every fit is very different as we fit you to your bike. At all Angles Bike Fit we listen, & work with you to attain the best fit to optimise your comfort, efficiency and performance.
Today I’m still riding whether it be club rides and laps of Regents Park, or visits to the New Forest enjoying the beautiful wildlife and the great road & gravel rides it has to offer.
